Amber Portwood: Is She Bragging About Domestic Violence with Her New Merch?!
Amber Portwood hasn’t been doing to well lately, huh?
Like she’s never really been thriving or anything, but lately it just seems like every time she turns around, there’s another negative story about her.
To be clear, she usually deserves it — for example, in the new episodes of Teen Mom OG, she’s been criticized heavily for how she’s interacted with and spoken about her daughter, Leah, and she’s objectively awful in that regard.
Another recent story was about Andrew Glennon’s allegations that he saw her doing drugs, namely meth, when he was in a relationship with her, and that he believed she may be using again.
Considering her history and her bizarre behavior recently, that’s fair enough, right?
Throughout all of this, Amber has been doing what she always does — defending herself in Instagram Lives and rambling on and on about staying positive without taking accountability for anything ever.
But she’s also been promoting a new little business venture, something called Portwood AF (“AF,” if you’re not hip to the lingo, standing for “as f-ck”).
She did a countdown to the launch on her Instagram, just referring to it as a “project” she’s been working on, and this weekend, we finally got to see what she’s been talking about.
It’s merch!
For some reason we really can’t wrap our minds around, she thought that people would want to buy Amber Portwood merch, so she released a few items on this new site of hers.
So far, you can buy a hoodie that says “Portwood AF” on the front, or t-shirts that say things like “Fighter for Life” or “Unfollow Me.”
You can also get a coffee mug that reads “Portwood AF, Unfollow Me, I Got This, Zen AF” if that sounds like it would be fun for you.
But there’s one more item, one that we’re going to be talking about today, and it’s this:
As you can see, it’s just a classic grey hoodie with the phrase “I’m Going to Portwood Your Ass” on the front.
And sorry, but what?!
There’s really only one way to interpret this, given Amber’s history of domestic violence, and it’s so disturbing that she would think this is in any way appropriate.
Everyone saw her physically abuse Gary in the early seasons of Teen Mom, and everyone knows that those charges contributed to her prison sentence.
Likewise, we’ve all heard the terrible story that Andrew’s told of what happened the night she was arrested again, when she allegedly chased him around their home with a machete while he was holding their infant son.
She’s tried to downplay what happened then, but she did plead guilty to felony counts of domestic battery and intimidation, and she’s still on probation for that.
We’ve also heard those leaked recordings of her verbally abusing Andrew, including one in which she admitted to punching him in the face. She threatened to kill him multiple times just in those three recordings.
So when we hear the phrase “I’m going to Portwood your ass,” there’s pretty much only one place our minds go, you know?
And judging by comments about the hoodie on the Teen Mom Reddit, plenty of fans of the show agree.
“An abusive person putting out abusive statement clothing is a choice,” one person wrote.
Another said that “It’s not cute to use your name as an adverb for beating or stabbing with a machete.”
One more comment read “STOP IT THIS CAN’T BE REAL THIS IS SO EMBARRASSING LMAO,” and that’s pretty much the gist of all of this.
There was so much backlash against her merch that Amber herself took a moment to address it in another post on Instagram.
“There is only room for positive people and energy in this space,” she wrote. “If you feel any negative or hateful feelings towards a person then there is no need for you here.”
She claimed that “My new line #portwoodaf does not condone any sort of violence and comments referring that is so do not belong here.”
“This was a fun project that I made taking different sayings from supporters and started wearing myself at first and now sharing with you.”
She finished by by telling her followers “Stay positive loves and don’t make misconceptions for what certain things mean.”
But again, there’s really no other way to read “I’m going to Portwood your ass,” and surely she has to know that — even without making her last name into the verb here, that phrasing is always aggressive.
This is just another example of Amber doing something wrong, getting called out for it, then pretending like she’s some beacon of positivity and light.
Will she ever change?

Sarah Jessica Parker shares a big laugh with Bobby Lee while filming a few scenes for And Just Like That… in New York City on Sunday afternoon (November 7).
The 56-year-old actress wore an all-white ensemble for the day of filming, while Bobby was seen wearing a graffiti shirt and red beanie on his head.
It hasn’t been reported who Bobby will portray in the upcoming series. He is best known for his appearances on MADtv, Magnum P.I., and Splitting Up Together. He’ll next be seen in Borderlands.
In her new cover story with Vogue, Sarah reacted to criticism of the new show and how the three characters look now.
“It almost feels as if people don’t want us to be perfectly okay with where we are, as if they almost enjoy us being pained by who we are today, whether we choose to age naturally and not look perfect, or whether you do something if that makes you feel better,” she said.
And Just Like That… will premiere in December on HBO Max.

Amber Portwood Breaks Down Over Drug Abuse Claims: I Don’t Deserve This!
Amber Portwood has been reduced to tears.
And she doesn’t think it’s fair.
Not in any way. Not in any shape. Not in any form.
On Thursday night, the Teen Mom OG star tried to simply catch up with her followers on Instagram Live.
Toward the end of her back-and-forth, however, Portwood simply couldn’t take it any longer.
She broke down in the wake of allegations made in court by ex-boyfriend Andrew Glennon in regard to her alleged history of drug abuse.
Her alleged recent history, according to Glennon, who filed recent legal documents that claimed Portwood has been smoking meth of late, citing instances where she acted bizarre during an exchange of the former couple’s young son, James.
During an exchange of the three-year old on October 16, Glennon said in these documents that the MTV personality was “acting erratically, speaking frantically, and appeared completely paranoid and disheveled.”
What made Glennon think these supposed actions were due to substance abuse?
Glennon said he has “witnessed Amber under the influence of illegal drugs previously, specifically methamphetamine,” and therefore has a reason to believe she’s at it once again.
Glennon added in the papers that Portwood’s October 16 behavior was “substantially similar to that which he has previously witnessed.”
Portwood’s legal team strongly denied these allegations in an official legal response — and now Amber has addressed them on social media.
“I did everything to do better, and I did nothing to deserve this. Not today at least,” Portwood told fans on Thursday.
After Amber started crying, Kailyn Lowry actually chimed in.
“I miss you! Hope you’re doing well!” the mother of four commented, seemingly unaware of what’s been going on with Portwood.
After witnessing the pain her fellow MTV personality was clearly suffering from, Lowry added:
“Y’all, I have no idea what’s going on. I feel bad I’m out of touch. But send Amber some love.”
What’s been going on, of course, is that Portwood got arrested for domestic violence back in July 2019 and has been battling Glennon for custody of their son ever since.
The legal battle has turned rather ugly of late, too.
Days after Glennon submitted the aforementioned documents, and even requested that Portwood take a hair follicle test, Amber issued a formal reply.
“Mother has exercised her parenting time with the parties’ child without any incidents regarding any type of substance abuse,” read the official reply by her attorney.
Through her attorney, the mother of two explained that she’s still on probation from her arrest and is required to submit random to monthly drug screens.
She has never failed any of these tests.
Portwood concluded her official response by asking the court to reject Glennon’s request, writing:
Mother denies adamantly the allegations made in Father’s Motion and believes that a hair follicle test is unnecessary due to her history of negative drug screens and continued requirement to submit to same.
Mother further states that Father’s Motion is nothing more than yet another attempt to paint Mother in a negative light.
Mother verifies that she has not used any substance, except for prescription medication taken within the therapeutic limits.
To wrap up this week’s Instagram Live session, meanwhile, Amber fought back tears as best she could and told listeners:
“All I’ve been doing is trying to work on myself and be a better person. And I get attacked for no reason…
“I did things to better myself, to make sure I’m still alive today, and I’m attacked for it.
“You guys have no f–king clue what’s behind the scenes and what I had to go through…
“Every time I come on here to talk to fans, I get sh-t on.”
After breaking down during her IG Live, Amber wrote in an Instagram post that she’s trying to stay positive, adding:
“I have so many mothers who are ashamed because of their past or they are not perfect. It really hurts to hear these stories and the hate they face as well.
“I can say that so many of us are wanting to grow and be successful for ourselves and our families.
“My tears were real and raw and I’m not ashamed to be rough around the edges!
“Nobody is perfect. If you are a strong woman trying your best than keep moving. It’s ok to cry every now and then.”

Maria Shriver is sticking up for son-in-law Chris Pratt.
Earlier this week, the 42-year-old Guardians of the Galaxy actor came under fire over a post he shared on Instagram praising wife Katherine Schwarzenegger.
In the post, Chris mentioned the “healthy daughter” he shares with Katherine, 31. Chris and Katherine are parents to 1-year-old daughter Lyla. He is also dad to 9-year-old son Jack, whom he shares with ex-wife Anna Faris.

Below Deck Season 1 Cast: Where Are They Now?
Below Deck premiered in 2013, and it was far from the show it is today.
The series had outlandish guests that tested the patience of everyone working on the boat, but the cast didn't gel as well as they did on the later seasons.
We would even go as far as saying that any potential viewers should skip the season entirely.
Still, there was a cast, and it's time to delve into what they got up to back then and, more importantly, what they are up to nowadays.
1. The Cast
From left to right we have Ben Robinson, C.J. LeBeau, Kat Held, Adrienne Gang, David Bradberry, Aleks Taldykin, Sam Orme, and Eddie Lucas. They look great, right?
2. C.J. LeBeau Then…
The Bravo hit rarely shows engineers, which might be because of C.J.’s antics throughout the freshman season.
He was involved in a relationship with his co-star, Sam, and made minimal impact on the overall show.
It makes sense then that the show never invited him back for another season.
3. C.J. LeBeau Now…
C.J.’s one-season stint could also be attributed to the fact he was arrested for assaulting his girlfriend when the first season was airing.
The star disappeared from oblivion thereafter, and stays away from the world of social media.
That’s why we used another photo of him from the first season.
4. Sam Orme Then…
Sam was well-known for hating her job and butting heads with much of her co-stars.
She balked at the idea that she should listen to her boss, Adrienne.
The relationship between the 3rd Steward and the Chief Steward is always rocky on the series.
Sam clearly didn’t want to be on the boat as an employee, and it made sense that she was never brought back.
5. Sam Orme Now…
Sam left the yachting world behind, got married, had a kid, and the rest is history.
You could tell Sam hated her job, or maybe it was just Adrienne, but she looks happy and healthy.
6. Adrienne Gang Then…
Adrienne was the most serious Chief Steward in franchise history.
She was unapproachable for the most part, yelling orders at the people below her.
She was replaced the following season with Kate Chastain, and it probably saved the show.

Angelina Jolie Speaks Out About The Arab Countries Choosing Not To Screen ‘Eternals’
Angelina Jolie is opening up after hearing the decision to not air Eternals in several Arab countries over the fact that there is a gay character, and marriage, in the movie.
The 46-year-old actress, who plays Thena in the flick, told Australia’s News.com that she feels sad for those living in those countries.

Angelina continued, “I still don’t understand how we live in a world today where there’s still [people who] would not see the family Phastos has and the beauty of that relationship and that love. How anybody is angry about it, threatened by it, doesn’t approve or appreciate it is ignorant.”
The movie features Phastos, played by Brian Tyree Henry, as an openly gay superhero who is married to Ben (Haaz Sleiman), and the two share a kiss during one scene in the film.
The ban affects several Arab countries, including Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman, Bahrain and Qatar.
Eternals is out in theaters now nationwide.
