Josh Duggar’s Hometown ‘Prays’ Court Dismisses Sex Molestation Lawsuit

Josh Duggar Hometown Dismiss Sex Molestation Lawsuit

The city of Springdale, Arkansas filed a response to Josh Duggars lawsuit, saying it “prays” the court dismisses the case, RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned.

The city is one of two defendants in the lawsuit Duggar filed, accusing the entities of illegally releasing documents surrounding the investigation into the alleged sexual molestation of four of his sisters and a babysitter years ago. Radar reported the second defendant, Washington County, filed its response last month denying “any relief” to Duggar.

In the latest filing, Springdale had a similar response. The city denied “each and every allegation” Duggar made in the suit.

Duggar’s hometown also claims the paperwork about his alleged sexual acts were already available to the public.

“Any information disclosed by the city of Springdale was already public,” Springdale claimed.

The Arkansas city also petitioned the court to drop the case altogether and cited a similar lawsuit Duggar lost against a magazine.

“The City of Springdale prays that this Court dismiss Plaintiff’s Complaint against the City] of Springdale in its entirety,” the documents state.

As Radar readers know, in this latest lawsuit, Duggar claimed emotional distress. The disgraced TLC star claimed “any reasonable person” would feel “seriously offended and aggrieved by the intensely negative publicity as a result of the illegal release.”
