Dylan McDermott To Join Christopher Meloni in 'Law & Order: Organized Crime' Series

Dylan McDermott is headed to the world of Law & Order.

Deadline reports that the 59-year-old actor has joined the newest spinoff in the franchise, Law & Order: Organized Crime.

While there is no news about just who Dylan will play in the series, he will join SVU alum Christopher Meloni in the show.

Christopher famously played Detective Elliot Stabler on SVU, from the beginning until 2011.

Law & Order: Organized Crime will center on Stabler as he returns to the NYPD to battle organized crime after a devastating personal loss. Stabler will aim to rebuild his life as part of a new elite task force that is taking apart the city’s most powerful criminal syndicates one by one.
